INTRODUCING THE MENTHOL SHOW

About a month ago, we welcomed the Menthol Show on cc.tv. Based in NYC, the show is hosted by Ren Jett. In its own words, the Show aims to “introduce you to the movers, shakers, makers, takers, chasers & heartbreakers that navigate through New York City’s various industries.” What’s cool about the show is that it breaks the mold for interview-based series. David, Greg, and Ren (the creators of the show) created a few different types of episodes: puppet promos (featuring foul-mouthed puppets Rob and Orville), short-form “Or” pieces (in which interviewees play a game of “Or” with Ren), and plain old interviews. Injected with subtle witticisms and an organic feel, the Menthol show invites you into the world of NYC cool without trying to be cool. So be cool and check it out.
